Step 1 – Junior Pennants Registration

One form per player.

Registration fee of $165, this includes the following:

  • Tennis West registration fee
  • Administration
  • Weekly match balls
  • Match supervisor (for home games)

Please read the Junior Pennant Parent Handbook in preparation for the Junior Pennant Season.

Every team must have a Team Manager. The Team Manager’s main responsibilities are to put together a roster for the season and to touch base each week with the players rostered on for each match.

Step 2 – Junior Club Membership

To be eligible to play junior league, players must be financial members of the club they represent.

For Allen Park Tennis Club Junior Membership CLICK HERE

Junior Club membership entitles the member to play at Friday afternoon Junior Club during Term 4 and Term 1, eligibility for junior pennants, free usage of the courts with members, cheaper rates for organised club play and much more.

Step 3 – Competitive Player Profile

In order to register with TW to play Junior Pennants, every player must have a Tennis Australia Competitive Player Profile (CPP) which involves having a Tennis ID and a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR). If your child hasn’t played Pennants before, please create a CPP as follows:

(1) Create an account in Match Centre (matchcentre.tennis.com.au) to get a Tennis ID.*

(2) Link it to a Universal Tennis (UT) account to get a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR): log in to your Match Centre account and click on “Activate my UTR Rating” then follow the prompts to create your UT account.

If you need help creating your CPP, go to www.tennis.com.au/competitiveplay/create-your-cpp for online instructions or contact Tennis Services via play@tennis.com.au or 1800 752 983 for further assistance.

* Parents creating an account for your child in Match Centre: please ensure you create an account for your child and not yourself – a common mistake! Also note if you have multiple children, you should specify a username and not an email address as the username for each child’s account, since you can only use your email address once on Match Centre. (The option to specify a username comes up when you enter your child’s date of birth.)
